The Doctor of Philosophy in Management is a research degree designed to develop the research capability and scholarly practice of those who aspire to become researchers in the eld of Management. Graduates of this programme can work as public and private university academics, senior managers or directors in both the public and private sectors, researchers and public and private research institutions. This programme provides an opportunity for candidates to extend their development beyond scholarly understanding and practice to include the capacity to conduct research within an area of interest in the eld of Management. The programme is intended for academic or professional sta (or graduate students) who may be teaching/working in higher education institutions and/or who are engaged in, or moving towards, leadership roles within the higher education or professional sector.

A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate; or |
Bachelor's Degree (Level 6, MQF) candidates may apply to direct admission to Doctoral Degree by Research |
Pass with (CGPA) of 3.67 or higher or its equivalent from an academic or Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme; with internal evaluation/interview and approval by HEP Senate |
