Course Description

The Diploma in Accounting programme at Nilai University provides students with a promising head start into solid careers in accounting and its related fields. The different courses in the programme offer students with solid grounding in accounting concepts and principles including taxation, auditing, business laws, economics, business organisation and other relevant business areas. The programme culminates with four months of internship training that permits students to enter into a career that provides countless opportunities and bright prospects for the future.

Graduates will be able to obtain exemptions for 4 papers from Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Graduates will be able to obtain the maximum 3 papers exemptions out of 13 papers from Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).

Entry Requirement :

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM); or SPMV

Pass with a minimum three (3) credits including Mathematics and pass in English; or

O-Level

Pass with a minimum three (3) credits including Mathematics and pass in English; or

STAM

Pass with a minimum grade of Maqbul with a credit in Mathematics and a pass at SPM English; or

Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)

Pass with a Grade B in three (3) subjects including Mathematics and pass in English; or

SKM (Level 3)

Pass in SPM with a credit in Mathematics and a pass in English; or

Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field

Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.00

ELS - 108

*International students with qualifications from educational systems where English language is the main medium of instruction are exempted from this requirement.

International students who do not fulfil the English Language Requirements may join the Intensive English Programme at Nilai University which builds their skills in the language and prepares them for the IELTS examination.
